Mother, a word that sums up the Universe.
Mother’s Day is a special day, for mothers and children. It celebrates the everlasting bond of love and affection. Delhi Public School Kota celebrated this bond of love and affection on the Mother’s Day with lots of emotion and gaiety.
Nursery children coloured the word MOM with their favourite colour and the ‘O’ was shown as the shinning sun their mother is in their life. LKG students made cards in the shape of a honey bottle to denote the sweetness their mother contained. While HKG made medals to honor the hard work of their mothers.
The first graders transformed clay dough into amazing wall hangings. The grade II students made big hug and heart- shaped popup cards.GradeIIIgifted a bouquet of handmade paper flowers. While grade IV to VII gave different handmade gifts like picture frames, cakes bangle boxes to name a few.
The teacher of every grade made the day special by organising a fun filled evening for the mothers. The party included ramp walks, paper dancing and games. The evening ended with heart-warming scenes where children spoke with emotions and feeling just to let their mother know what she meant to them.
