“A summer camp conjures up fond memories of our experiences.”
The searing summer days were utilized through the three-day summer camp, brought home by Delhi Public School, Kota for children age of 4 to 12 years. Day one to day three saw children learning French, having fun with science, experiments, dancing to the tune of different songs in varied styles, and experimenting with colors. Each group had a different activity to start with. Creating wonderful Art with using thread to make beautiful paintings to using fingers to make a tree laden with fruits and numbers to draw boats, ducks or trees. Each and every artwork was done with anticipation and enthusiasm. French became the favorite language for three days. Children peeled with laughter at their own pronunciation of French words. At the end of third-day children were found greeting each other in French. Dancing to the moves of Zumba, Chair dance, and the yogic dance was absolutely loved by the children. Science experiments were a hit. Inflating balloon can be without blowing, making Anemometer with simple items at home. The fun-clap theatre elevated the observation skills and children immensely enjoyed the Pantomime and mime sessions. The high point of the camp was the magic show on the last day. The children were awestruck when they saw that the magician could double and triple the money by merely waving his wand and saying the magic spell. < |
